Roses are the main decoration of any garden, and in order for them to grow healthy and beautiful, they must be properly planted.

Before planting roses, prepare the soil. Roses like the soil to be nutritious and don't like loose soil. The soil for planting roses should be moisture permeable. It is recommended to dig up the soil before planting roses so that the root system of the rose develops easily. Rose roots can penetrate to a depth of 1-2.5 m, keep this in mind. For planting roses, a nutrient mixture is prepared, which consists of 1 part of sand, 5 parts of well-sifted humus and 1 part of fertile soil.

After you have prepared the cuttings and a hole for planting with fertile soil, the roses are planted. The hole is well watered with water. The seedling is freed from packaging and, together with a lump of earth, the rose is placed in a prepared hole. Strongly the rose is not buried and covered with a pre-prepared mixture. After planting, the rose is watered. If the weather is sunny, try to water so that the water does not get on the leaves and stem of the rose. The seedling must be shaded from direct sunlight. The rose takes root within 2 weeks.

Thus, self-rooted roses are planted. For grafted roses, everything is the same, with one exception: the graft site must be slightly deepened. If the rose is grafted, then the rose must be deepened 3-5 cm so that the grafting site does not dry out. In case of insufficient deepening, the graft site can dry out and die, just as in the case of excessive deepening of the grafted cuttings, it can simply rotate, being too deep underground.

In the future, the rose will demand your attention. Do not forget about regular watering and feeding. Be aware of winter shelter and other standard procedures. In a word, surround your roses with attention and care.
