Radishes will delight you almost the entire season if you are not too lazy and will plant new beds at intervals of 1-2 weeks.
When choosing seeds, it is very important to consider the variety (early or summer). Choose early maturing varieties whenever possible. Do not buy old radish seeds, because they may not sprout at all, and also never buy ready-made seedlings, they almost never take root in radishes. If you want radishes to always be on your table, you should purchase enough early and mid-season seeds to sow for four weeks at intervals of seven days.
Now let's focus on choosing a place for the garden. In spring, it is better to sow radishes in a sunny area, but in summer - in partial shade. The soil should be well-drained, rich in humus, light. For fertilization, humus should be used. If you do not want your fruits to infect the larvae of the cabbage fly, you should add wood ash to the soil in early spring.

Sowing and caring for radishes is not too difficult, because it is not for nothing that it is considered an unpretentious vegetable. If manure was not introduced into the soil beforehand, spread a thin layer of well-rotted compost over the surface of the bed. It is very important to harvest the radish on time, because it becomes very fibrous when overgrown. Besides the fruits,the leaves of young plants can also be eaten - they are often added to salads and soups.
