8. Liatris spikelet
Liatris spikelet is one of the most spectacular representatives of the Astrov family, which seems to be a real exotic in the garden.

Bizarre numerous stems of lyatrice in dense curtains are decorated with narrow lanceolate leaves, which make the whole plant "prickly" in appearance. Shoots with a height of about 50 cm are crowned with fluffy spikelets of inflorescences during flowering, resembling fur sticks up to 35 cm long.
Spikelet liatris is the only plant with vertical candles, in which the flowers bloom not from bottom to top, but from top to bottom. The liatris is also distinguished by a particularly dense arrangement of flowers.
Growing conditions for liatrix spikelet: sunny and warm locations with nutritious, dry, light and well-drained soil.
Caring for liatris spikelet: sanitary cleaning of bushes in spring, 2-3 additional fertilizing per season, cutting of wilting inflorescences.
The best varieties of liatris spikelet:
