Meat cutlets with bran and sweet pepper are a healthy dish, one might say, dietary. This despite the fact that it is cooked from pork. Many people undeservedly reject pork, completely excluding it from the dietary menu. However, dietitian prohibitions apply only to fatty meat, and lean pork is often less high in calories than beef.
Ask the butcher to cut your fillet without fat and skin, it will make a very tasty minced meat. If you have left only chicken breast fillets in your daily diet, fearing to build up extra pounds at the waist, try making cutlets according to this recipe - hearty, healthy, and there are very few calories in them.

Ingredients for bran and bell pepper cutlets
- 600 g lean pork;
- 50 g leeks or onions;
- 120 g bell pepper;
- 50 ml of milk;
- 40 g oat bran;
- 10 g olive oil;
- sea salt, pepper.
Method for preparing meat cutlets with bran and sweet pepper
We choose meat for cutlets - lean, preferably the hip or shoulder part of the carcass. A little fat should be left in so that the patties do not get too dry. For a dietary recipe, 20-30 g of fat is enough for the whole amount, for a regular recipe you can leave about 80 g.
We cut off the veins and tendons, cut the meat and bacon into small cubes.
We clean sweet bell peppers of any color from seeds and partitions, cut into strips. Add leeks to the pepper or, as in this recipe, the light part of the green onion stalks.
We put meat and vegetables into the processor, grind the minced meat until smooth. Then pour in milk and oat bran, add sea salt to taste. By the way, in order to have a variety of trace elements in your plate, you can add wheat, rye and buckwheat in equal proportions to oat bran.
We knead the minced meat for cutlets well, it requires it, like dough! Cover the finished minced meat with cling film, put it in the refrigerator for 20 minutes on the lower shelf.
We heat the oven to a temperature of 180 degrees Celsius.
Grease a baking sheet with a thin layer of refined olive oil.
We take out a bowl of minced meat from the refrigerator, put a bowl of cold water next to it. We moisten palms in cold water, sculpt small flat oval cutlets.
We spread the cutlets on a baking sheet with a small distance between them.
