Chinese style pork with Brussels sprouts is a very tasty and simple second dish based on Asian cuisine. It will take time to marinate the meat, but if you want to cook the dish quickly, then cut the meat into thin strips so the marinade will be absorbed faster. This recipe has all the ingredients for a delicious lunch - tender sweet and sour meat with gravy, juicy vegetables and creamy glass noodles. You can marinate pork in advance, it is kept in the marinade from 2 to 10 hours, and the longer, the tastier, then it will take no more than half an hour to cook dinner.

The original Chinese recipe uses rice wine for the marinade, it can be replaced with dry white wine, it is more affordable, and the replacement will not particularly affect the taste.

Ingredients for pork with brussels sprouts Chinese style
- 600 g pork tenderloin;
- 500 g brussels sprouts;
- 250 g funchose;
- 50 g butter.
For the marinade:
- 1 chili pod;
- 1 head of onion;
- 3 cloves of garlic;
- 5 cm of ginger root;
- 60 ml of white wine;
- 30 ml of soy sauce;
- 30 g of honey;
- 40 ml olive oil;
- salt, pepper, herbs.
How to cook pork with brussels sprouts in Chinese
From the cut, carefully cut off the films and all the excess - fat, veins and tendons. Wash the meat with cold water and dry thoroughly with a paper towel.
Cut the pork across the fibers into large cubes. In this recipe, the meat is pre-marinated, so you do not need to grind it, it will be tastier.
Next, we make the pork marinade. We pass the garlic cloves through the press. Rub the head of onion and the root of fresh ginger on a fine grater. Cut the chili pod into cubes. In a bowl, mix dry white wine with honey, grated onions and ginger, chopped chili, salt and pepper, add soy sauce.



We put the pieces of pork in the marinade and put them in the refrigerator for 2 hours, during which time the meat will absorb the aromas of the spices.

Next, heat the olive oil in a frying pan, quickly fry the pork pieces until tender, put on a plate. Pour the remaining marinade into the pan, evaporate it for 10 minutes, mix with the meat. Then sprinkle the meat with chopped herbs. Chinese style pork base with Brussels sprouts is ready.
