Roasting pork in the oven is a simple recipe that will help you quickly, without the smell of fried oil, oil splashes and other inconveniences that accompany the frying process, cook a delicious and appetizing pork belly in the oven. For some time now I have been preparing pork roast only in this way. Well, I'm tired of washing the stove after frying a small piece of meat, and the smell is not always happy, especially if oil splashes get into the fire.

Once I spied on professional cooks - they cover the stove with foil around the burners, but for making a homemade dinner for a small family, it is somehow uneconomical. But in the oven, and even with the grill mode, the roast will turn out to be the most delicious - ruddy, golden, juicy and tender.
As a side dish for such meat, be sure to boil potatoes and stew carrots and onions, you get a hearty, tasty and simple lunch.
It's important to choose the right brisket for this recipe. You need a brisket with thin layers of bacon, it is better to salt very fatty meat with wide strips of bacon (it will turn out deliciously in a bag in a dry way) or boil it in onion skins. Butchers usually sell frying without ribs, but sometimes there are small cartilages, in my opinion, they are even tastier with them.

- 600 g boneless pork belly;
- 1 tsp fennel;
- 1 tsp cumin;
- 2 tsp sweet paprika;
- 2 tsp seasonings for meat;
- 1 tbsp honey;
- 1 tbsp soy sauce;
- salt, vegetable oil.
How to cook roast pork in the oven
Cut the frying into slices about two centimeters thick. This time I got the meat with costal cartilage and skin, and since the pig was young, the skin is edible and soft, and the cartilage is tender.

Now we make a mixture to grate the meat. Pour salt and sweet paprika into a bowl, add cumin, fennel and a little dry meat seasoning. By the way, the one for the kebab will do the same.

Rub the pieces of pork roast with spices carefully so that no unprocessed pieces remain.

Pour everything with vegetable oil, you need 2-3 tablespoons of oil.

Put the meat in a fireproof baking dish. We heat the oven to 170 degrees Celsius.

Cover the mold with a piece of foil, put it in a heated oven for 30 minutes. Then remove the foil and grease the meat with sauce. I prepare the sauce like this - I heat honey in a bowl in a water bath, when it becomes liquid, I add thick soy sauce.

Now turn on the grill mode and brown the pork roast in the oven until golden brown under the grill, this will take 5-6 minutes.

We take the pork roast out of the oven, let it "rest" for a few minutes at room temperature and serve it with a complex side dish, pickles or vegetable salad. Bon Appetit!
