Green radish salad with carrots is a healthy recipe for lean vegetarian and diet menus. Black radish is tasty, but it is very aromatic and sharp. No wonder there is a saying: "worse than a bitter radish." However, despite the obvious shortcomings, the benefits of radish are enormous, besides, this vegetable is a budget one, that is, very inexpensive, but healthy.

Thanks to the Chinese, who have developed many new varieties, for example, green radish or "Margelan". It really has a softer taste and not as vigorous smell as black. Green radish is more juicy. However, I do not recommend eating a salad with green radish and onions before going out, the smell still remains and does not disappear soon.
This vegetable belongs to the category of low-calorie, include salad in the menu during the period of weight loss in order to remove toxins from the body with its help.

Ingredients for a Healthy Green Radish Carrot Salad
- 1 margelan radish;
- 1 sweet and sour apple;
- 1 medium carrot;
- 1/2 lemon;
- 4-5 feathers of green onions;
- 2 teaspoons black sesame seeds
- a pinch of hot pepper (optional);
- 1 tablespoon Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- sea salt to taste.
How to make a healthy green radish salad with carrots
Peel off a thin layer of peel from the radish, then rub it on a vegetable grater with a fine nozzle to get narrow and thin strips.

Sprinkle the chopped radish with sea salt to taste, stir and leave in an open container to dissipate the pungent smell.
We wash the carrots with running water, scrape, rub on the same grater as the radish. Add chopped carrots to the salad bowl.
Chop the sweet and sour apple to make a thin straw, add to the radish with carrots.



On the apple, immediately squeeze the juice from half a lemon, so that the apple does not oxidize in the air and does not acquire a "rusty look".

Rinse a few green onion feathers with cold water, chop finely, add to the salad bowl to the rest of the ingredients.
Pour black sesame seeds into a salad bowl. Unpeeled black sesame, peeled white - there is not much difference in taste, but black in some salads looks more impressive.
Mix the vegetables thoroughly, add a pinch of hot red pepper, Extra Virgin olive oil and mix thoroughly again.



We put the salad in the refrigerator for 10-15 minutes so that the vegetables cool and soak in juices and oil.
