For the filling, in principle, any canned fish are suitable - natural with the addition of oil. For the test:
- 170 g of premium wheat flour;
- 100 g sour cream;
- 50 g mayonnaise;
- 2 chicken eggs;
- 1 teaspoon ground turmeric
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- salt, black sesame.
For filling:
- 2 cans of sardines;
- 1 onion;
- 3 potatoes;
- a bunch of dill and parsley;
- pepper.
How to make a simple pie with sardines and potatoes
Break two chicken eggs into a deep bowl, add half a teaspoon of fine table salt, add mayonnaise and sour cream.

Mix the liquid ingredients with a whisk until smooth.

Let's prepare the filling. Put the sardines in a bowl, select the seeds, pour the juice from the jar into the same place. If there is a lot of juice, I advise you to add a little ground crackers - they will absorb moisture.
Add finely chopped onions to the fish, knead everything together with a fork, mix.
Grease the non-stick form with oil, sprinkle with flour. Pour half of the dough into a greased form, spread it along the bottom so that the layer turns out to be approximately the same thickness. By the way, this pie can be cooked in a frying pan.
Distribute the fish filling over the dough. It is difficult to spread it over the batter; it is better to spread it with a spoon in small portions.
Peel the potatoes, cut into thin strips. Finely chop a bunch of dill and parsley. Mix the chopped potatoes with herbs, salt, put on the fish.
Pour the remaining dough onto the potatoes, spread it over the entire surface with a spatula or spoon, so that the dough flows and fills the voids between the potato slices.
Sprinkle the top with sesame seeds - black or white, it does not matter.
We heat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius. We put the form in the preheated oven at the middle level.
Cook for 40-45 minutes until golden brown. The baking time depends on the thickness of the cake and the characteristics of the oven, but it cannot be less than half an hour - otherwise the potatoes will not be baked.
