Pickled cucumbers "Snacks" with red currants, garlic and apple cider vinegar are sweet and sour, strong and crispy, in a word, real snacks. Currants will add spice to the marinade filling. By the way, pickled berries can be added to a martini along with an olive, it turns out beautifully, original and tasty! Instead of apple cider vinegar, you can use vinegar essence, which is diluted with water in a 1: 7 ratio to make regular table vinegar.

Ingredients for "Snack" pickled cucumbers
- 2 kg of cucumbers;
- 200 g red currant;
- dill, cherry leaves, garlic.
For the marinade (for 1 liter of water):
- 25 g table salt;
- 45 g granulated sugar;
- 40 ml of apple cider vinegar;
- mustard seeds, cloves, chili peppers, allspice.
Method for preparing pickled cucumber snack bars
The ingredients for the blanks must be fresh - a prerequisite and the main secret of success. This does not mean that you need to rush to the stove at all times, just having harvested. Cucumbers and currants will perfectly spend the night in the refrigerator or on the balcony and will not lose their natural qualities.
It is even better to soak the cucumbers overnight in cold spring water, so they will definitely become elastic and juicy.
Bunches of red currants, dill umbrellas and cherry leaves are thrown into a bowl, pour water, rinse the ingredients thoroughly, put them on a sieve and pour boiling water over them.
Cucumbers "Snack" with red currants beforehand wash, cut the tails, cut them into slices 3-5 millimeters thick.
I wash the cans for preservation with warm water and soda, rinse first with hot water, then with boiling water. At the bottom of the jar we put dill umbrellas, cherry leaves, a few peeled garlic cloves.
We fill the jar to the top with chopped cucumbers, pour the cucumbers with bunches of red currants.
Pour boiling water into jars, immediately pour into a saucepan. We fill the jars with boiling water again. By the way, it is better to use filtered or spring water for the marinade. We cover the cucumbers with lids, the jars with a towel so that the vegetables warm up while the marinade is being prepared.
Pour sugar and salt into a saucepan, add mustard grains, a few allspice peas, chili pepper and a few cloves. Bring the marinade to a boil, boil for 5 minutes, pour in apple cider vinegar, remove from heat.
Fill the jars with boiling marinade almost to the very neck.
Take a wide and deep saucepan, put a cotton or linen towel folded in half on the bottom. We put the blanks on a towel, pour hot water almost to the lids.
We sterilize jars with a capacity of 0.5 l for 10 minutes, 1 l for 15 minutes.
We take the cans out of the water, screw them tightly and immediately turn them over onto the lids with the neck down. We cover the blanks with a towel, when they cool to room temperature, we put them for storage in a dark pantry.
Pickled cucumbers "Snacks" according to this recipe can be stored in an apartment at a temperature not higher than +20 degrees Celsius.
