Video: Eggplant - For Growth. The Best Varieties. Photo
The conquest of Europe by eggplant began in the 16th century. And since then, it has undergone many changes. Breeders have tried and are trying, increasing the size of the eggplant, reducing its ripening time. Every year we are offered more and more varieties of it.
The main criteria that may be interesting for gardeners:
The ripening period from germination to technical maturity is
- early maturing - up to 110 days,
- mid-season - up to 130 days,
- late ripening - more than 130 days,
- Fruit weight
Here are my favorite varieties, as well as varieties that have received excellent recommendations from gardeners.

The plant is short, bushy. Fruits are large, wide, pear-shaped, black-purple, 16-19 cm long, weighing up to 1 kg. The pulp is firm, white, without bitterness.
