Therefore, it is best to sow Savoy cabbage at the same time as white cabbage. If the seeds are sown in open ground in April under a film, then after forty days the seedlings are planted in permanent beds.

Therefore, a good amount of humus is introduced into the planting hole, and organic fertilizers and superphosphate (per 10 sq. M. 100 g) are added to the soil in the garden bed. To give the plant strength, it should be periodically watered with humate.

Savoy cabbage heads are cut along with the leaves covering it. They are also eaten. Early varieties are cut off when heads of cabbage are sufficiently dense. They should be between 15 and 20 centimeters in diameter. The structure of Savoy cabbage is loose, but in later varieties it is more dense. The outer leaves are colored green, while the inner leaves are pale yellow to white.
