Our family is very fond of tomatoes, so most of the beds in the country are given specifically for this culture. Every year we try to try new interesting varieties, and some of them take root and become loved. At the same time, over many years of gardening, we have already formed a set of favorite varieties that are mandatory for planting in every season. We jokingly call such tomatoes “special-purpose” varieties. These varieties and hybrids are ideal for each use in a specific situation, because the scope of application of tomatoes is very wide.

Numerous varieties of tomatoes differ in size, color, flavor and texture. With this in mind, each of them can find the ideal field of application, where the variety or hybrid will show its best side.

Immediately I would like to draw the attention of readers to the fact that, depending on the growing conditions, any cultivated plants can manifest themselves in different ways. We grow tomatoes in the Central Black Earth Region, in the Voronezh Region. In addition, the assessment of taste is an exclusively subjective matter, therefore the article does not claim to be an absolute truth and is only for reference.

1. Tomato "Bella Rosa F1" - the best tomatoes for fresh salads

What could be tastier than a juicy meaty tomato from your own garden? Tomato is one of the most favorite vegetables in our family, and, first of all, we prefer to eat this vegetable in fresh form.

The basic requirements that usually apply to salad tomatoes are: medium or large size, even color, appetizing appearance, firm sweet pulp. In our opinion, the Bella Rosa hybrid tomato meets this request to the greatest extent. This hybrid was bred by the Japanese company Sakata, and in 2008 it was included in the State Register of the Russian Federation as recommended for growing outdoors.

By the type of growth, the tomato belongs to the determinant, according to the manufacturer, the bush reaches a size of 80 centimeters. (But in our conditions, he never grew above 60 centimeters). Bushes "Bela Rosa" can be distinguished even from afar - they are very powerful, stocky and well leafy.

It is recommended to form this variety into two stems, but, according to our observations, the hybrid does not need either rationing the number of stems or removing stepchildren, since it perfectly forms a good harvest on its own. The only necessary measure is to remove the thick leaves so that they do not obscure the maturing crop.

The fruits of the "Bela Rosa" hybrid literally look like a picture: one-dimensional, weighing from 150 to 300 grams, (we grew on average 200 grams), regular flat-round shape, pleasant uniform dark red color, without ugly green spots at the stalk. At the same time, the pulp is slightly pinkish inside.

The fruit is highly resistant to sunburn and cracking, tolerates heat and slight drought well. For those who sell surplus crops, this hybrid is an ideal option, since buyers usually choose with their eyes, and Bela Ros's appearance is incredibly appetizing.

Quite to match the appearance and taste of these tomatoes, the hybrid's fruits are very harmonious - moderately sweet, juicy and fleshy. The ripening period is average - 80-95 days from germination to the start of fruit collection.

I would also like to note the high resistance to diseases. (Although we definitely carry out preventive treatment for all varieties of tomatoes). The yield of tomato "Bela Rosa" on our site is very high every year.

Disadvantages of tomato hybrid "Bela Rosa"

Some gardeners claim that any hybrid tomatoes, having an attractive appearance, lose in taste when compared to varietal tomatoes. Perhaps there are varieties with a more expressive tomato flavor, but for our family there have not yet been found. I cannot single out any other disadvantages of Bela Rosa tomatoes.
