Bend the dough squares diagonally to form a triangle, and press them along the perimeter with your finger, stepping back 1 cm from the edge: then the filling will not "run away" during baking, but the edges of the "corners" will delaminate beautifully.

Can be made sweet or savory. Having rolled out the dough 0.5 cm thick, cut the cake into strips 15 cm long and 3 cm wide.
