You can combine all possible dried fruits, nuts and cereals in any proportion. It is important to process the ingredients: warm them up in the oven, wash them or rinse them with boiling water so that harmful bacteria do not enter the body. After all, it's not a secret for anyone that oriental sweets shops can not always boast of their sterility.

Ingredients for homemade muesli
- 350 g oatmeal;
- 150 g white sesame;
- 150 g raisins (light and dark);
- 50 g dried apricots;
- 100 candied fruits;
- 50 g dates;
- 50 g dried figs;
- 100 g pumpkin seeds;
- 100 g of peanuts;
- 40 g orange powder;
- 150 g honey.
How to make homemade muesli
We heat the oven to a temperature of 200 degrees Celsius. Pour instant oatmeal on a dry baking sheet, send it to the oven for 5-7 minutes. We do not leave without attention, mix the flakes with a spatula so that they do not burn. Then we take out the baking sheet from the oven, do not turn off the oven!
By the way, instead of oatmeal, you can prepare a mixture of various other cereals - buckwheat, wheat, rye. It is tasty and healthy, since each cereal contains a certain set of trace elements.
Separately, in a frying pan with a thick bottom, fry sesame seeds without oil. It will take only 3-4 minutes to fry them, as soon as they turn yellow, remove the pan from the stove, pour the seeds into the flakes.
We also fry the pumpkin seeds so that they are calcined, it takes 5 minutes. Put the raisins and dried apricots in a colander, pour boiling water over them, spread them on napkins to absorb moisture. Cut dried apricots into strips, add together with raisins and pumpkin seeds to a baking sheet.
Figs and dates should not be washed, these dried fruits are usually sold in packaging, they are clean. We cut the dates and figs into small pieces, send them to the rest of the ingredients.
Next, add the roasted peanuts and orange or lemon peel powder, mix everything, put the baking sheet in a hot oven for 3-4 minutes. Let's hope the heat from the oven kills the germs and our breakfast becomes sterile.
Now transfer the hot muesli from the baking sheet to the bowl. Melt the honey in a water bath, pour it into a bowl, mix everything together well, cool it at room temperature.
It remains only to transfer the finished product into a clean jar with a lid and a healthy homemade breakfast is ready!
