The Oreo Peanut Cookie No-Bake Cake is a simple no-bake dessert that can be made in just half an hour. The cake is so delicious, creamy and melting that after trying it, you want to eat it all at once. However, it is so satisfying that, in fact, a thin slice is enough to round off a gala dinner. For cooking, you need a small cake mold. This recipe has a round shape measuring 20 centimeters. It is better to prepare the dessert the day before the festive feast, you need it to freeze well (it will take 6-8 hours).
Ingredients for a cake without baking Oreo cookies
- 300 g of Oreo cookies;
- 60 g sweet shortbread cookies;
- 220 g butter;
- 100 g of roasted salted peanuts;
- 150 g of boiled condensed milk;
- 1 tablespoon brandy;
- 70 ml heavy cream;
- 100 g dark chocolate;
- confectionery decorations.
A method of making a cake without baking cookies
Place the filled Oreo cookies in the blender bowl, grind with several impulse inclusions until a homogeneous crumb is obtained.
Melt 70 g of butter, cool slightly. We transfer the crushed cookies to a bowl, add melted butter, pour 30 ml of cream or milk. Thoroughly mix the ingredients for the base of the cake without baking, you get a thick mass, black as black soil.
We spread the cookie dough into a round cake mold, better detachable. We level it to get a base of the same thickness at the bottom and along the sides. We remove the form with the base in the refrigerator for 20 minutes.
In the meantime, we prepare the filling for the cake without baking. Grind the roasted salted peanuts in a blender. Soften the remaining butter at room temperature. Put softened butter, boiled condensed milk and peanuts in a bowl, beat the ingredients with a mixer until smooth.
Grind ordinary shortbread cookies in a blender to get very small crumbs. Add cookies and cognac to a bowl, mix thoroughly. Instead of brandy, you can use whiskey or rum, and if you are preparing a dessert for the children's table, then replace the alcohol with any flavored syrup.
We take out the base of the cake from the refrigerator, put the filling in the center, level it with a spatula so that the layer is even. Put the mold back in the refrigerator, at this stage you can put it in the freezer for a few minutes.
Break the bar of dark chocolate into small pieces. Melt chocolate in the microwave or in a water bath. Heat the remaining cream to 50 degrees Celsius. Mix the heated cream with melted chocolate, mix thoroughly. The result is a shiny chocolate ganache that can be used for any icing.
We take out the mold from the refrigerator, pour out the ganache, distribute it with a spatula evenly.
We put the cake without baking "Oreo" cookies in the refrigerator for several hours so that it hardens properly. Before serving, decorate with pastry sprinkles, it is better to choose festive New Year colors - white, red and green.
