Syngonium (Latin Syngonium) is a plant of the aroid family. Homeland - Central and South America.
Syngonium is a fast-growing liana with beautiful arrow-shaped leaves; with age, their shape changes significantly, and they become lobed or deeply dissected. There are 20 known species of syngonium, among them there are creeping and climbing plants. The most common is Syngonium podophyllum with variegated leaf color. The plant can be grown as an ampelous plant in pots or on props.

Accommodation. The plant is light-requiring, but it can withstand partial shade. Does not tolerate direct sunlight. In winter, the temperature should not be lower than 18 ° C.
Care. Syngonium is hygrophilous, it needs high humidity and warm soil. In spring and summer, the plant should be watered with water at room temperature and sprayed frequently. Feed with full mineral fertilizer every 14 days. In winter, watering is reduced, while preventing the coma from drying out. The plant is regularly cleaned of dust with a soft damp sponge. If necessary, syngonium is transplanted into the ground.
