This recipe is inspired by the traditional Belarusian cold chill and Bulgarian tarator. Beetroot, walnuts, fresh cucumber and aromatic green basil with kefir or yogurt combine perfectly. The vitamin cocktail turns out to be simply delicious! Top it off with a pinch of sea salt and some delicious soy sauce for a complete meal. In the heat, you simply cannot think of anything better. On such a smoothie, you can arrange fasting days - a portion of the cocktail 200-220 g, five times a day. However, with walnuts, moderation should be observed - they are high in calories. Therefore, if you are losing weight, then add half a small nut to one serving of smoothie, this is enough.

- 220 ml of 1% kefir;
- 1 small boiled beet;
- 1 fresh cucumber;
- 3-4 sprigs of green basil;
- ½ lime;
- 2 walnuts;
- 2 teaspoons of soy sauce
- sea salt to taste.
How to make a healthy beetroot smoothie
Cut a fresh cucumber. For this beetroot smoothie recipe, you will need one small prickly cucumber, cut off 1/3 from the long-fruited.
Tear off the basil leaves from the stem, rinse thoroughly, squeeze out the water, cut finely, add to the sliced cucumber. Green, aromatic basil goes well with walnuts, reminiscent of Georgian sauce or pesto sauce without oil.
Cut the boiled beets into small cubes. Beets can also be baked in the oven by wrapping them in several layers of foil. The baked beets will stay in the refrigerator for 2-3 days.
We wash the walnuts, dry them, add to the rest of the ingredients. Nuts can be dried in the oven on a baking sheet, so in a smoothie made from beets, their aroma will unfold more.
