Remove the core of the apples, cut them into small cubes. Peel the pears, cut into cubes. The fruit should be cut into cubes of approximately the same size so that they are cooked at the same time.

We peel off a thin layer of peel from the fresh ginger root, rub the root with the finest grater. If the ginger root turns out to be with fibers, then they should not be added, it is better to throw it away or put it in some tincture, only gentle grated gruel should be put in the jam.

Remove a thin layer of yellow zest from the lemon, try not to touch the white pulp, it is very bitter. Squeeze lemon juice, add to fruit.

Sprinkle the fruit with lemon juice with sugar, add a pinch of ground cinnamon, finely chopped rosemary leaves and cardamom grains, ground in a mortar. Leave the fruit with sugar for 15 minutes to melt the sugar a little. If you do not have time to wait for the sugar to melt, then simply cover the pan with the jam and turn on the heat, when the jam boils, the lid can be removed.

Cook the jam for about 25-30 minutes, until the pieces of fruit are boiled and completely transparent.

We put the finished jam into dry sterile jars; for long-term storage, jars of jam can be pasteurized for 5-8 minutes at a temperature of 80 degrees.

Now, if you suddenly catch a cold, you don't have to run to the pharmacy for overseas drugs, you can drink a cup of hot tea with fruit jam against colds with rosemary and ginger. Get well and don't get sick!
