An amazing, tasty and healthy fruit - pear! It is very nutritious and has a lot of nutrients and few calories. It is a natural source of energy. Even in ancient China, the pear symbolized longevity, since pear trees are very long in their life. And the aroma of the honey pear, which I propose to cook in this recipe, cannot be compared with anything else. Try it yourself, this delicious, simple and aromatic dish - honey pears.

Ingredients for honey pears
- 1 kg of medium-sized hard pears
- ½ tbsp. tablespoons of lemon juice
- ¾ a glass of dark fragrant honey (not candied),
- 1 cup of sugar,
- 1 glass of wine vinegar
- ½ teaspoon of cardamom;
- 6 grains of black allspice and cloves;
- ½ teaspoon of cinnamon;
- a pinch of ginger.

Method for preparing honey pears
Wash the pears and cut them in half. Peel off peels, stems and seeds. To prevent the pears from darkening, fill them with boiled water, after adding lemon juice to it.

Grind the spices in a mortar. Pour wine vinegar and honey into a saucepan, add sugar. Cook, stirring constantly, over low heat until the sugar is completely dissolved.

Pour the acidified water with pears into another saucepan (the water should barely cover the fruit). Cook for about 5 minutes, then remove the pears and dry.

Wash the jars and turn upside down to drain the water. Place on a baking sheet and heat in the oven. Put pears in cooled jars.

Add spices to honey vinegar marinade and bring to a boil. Pour the pears with hot marinade, carefully close the jars and refrigerate.

Fill the pot with cold water and put the jars in it. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for about 7 minutes. Remove the jars and cool. Store honey pears in a cool place.
