Kefir chicken pie is easy and simple to prepare for dinner or lunch. I made this quick jellied pie with chicken fillet. The meat must be pre-fried for several minutes until golden brown, so it will retain its juiciness. Anything can be added to jellied pies in reasonable quantities, as long as the products are combined. If there are a few olives left, a piece of cheese is sad on the shelf, a slice of ham dries up from breakfast, a couple of tablespoons of stewed cabbage cannot find use for itself - do not throw away the food, but add it to the filling, it will be very tasty!

Chicken Pie Ingredients
- 300 g chicken fillet;
- 120 g of onions;
- 200 ml of kefir or yogurt;
- 3 eggs;
- 130 g wheat flour;
- 30 g pumpkin seeds;
- 20 ml olive oil;
- a sprig of thyme;
- ½ chili pod;
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon of baking soda;
- butter, salt, pepper, oil for frying.
Method of making quick jellied chicken pie
Cut the onions for this chicken pie recipe into large feathers. In a frying pan, heat a tablespoon of butter and vegetable oil for frying, fry the chopped onion in heated oil for several minutes until soft.
Thick slices of chicken breast fillet are often cut with a sharp knife on both sides, put the meat in a pan next to the onion.
Fry the chicken fillet on both sides until golden brown for about 3 minutes on each side.



We spread the fried fillet on a board, cut into small cubes. Put the chopped chicken into a deep bowl, add the onion and oil from the pan.

We clean the chili pod from the seeds, cut it finely. We pick off the leaves from the thyme branch. Add thyme leaves and chopped chili to a bowl.

Pour kefir or unsweetened yogurt into a bowl of chicken; in this chicken pie recipe, you can also use liquid sour cream, yogurt, in a word, any fresh sour milk product.

Break fresh chicken eggs into the dough, add salt to taste, mix everything thoroughly.
Add baking soda and baking powder to wheat flour, mix dry ingredients, then sift into a bowl.
Mix the dough thoroughly, in consistency it should turn out to be similar to the dough for thick pancakes or pancakes, if you make it thick, then the cake will turn out to be dry.



Grease a low rectangular shape with soft butter, sprinkle with wheat flour, pour the dough into a mold, distribute in an even layer. Sprinkle with pumpkin seeds on top and pour with Extra Virgin olive oil.

We heat the oven to a temperature of 180 degrees. We put the form in a heated oven, bake for about 35-40 minutes. The baking time depends on the thickness of the dough layer and the characteristics of the plate; the time may vary slightly.
