Elizabeth Murray Blooming Heart

Owner::   Elizabeth Murray
www.elizabethmurray.com This is my garden in progress in Monterey, CA. I have given myself 50 years to compleate it and I plant trees for the next 100 years. I am planting fruit trees, a meadow, some vegetables and herbs. I have 27 varities of trees, 27 different birds that come here and 25 varities of bamboo from my late husband, Gerald Bol's collection. I teach in my garden classes in creativity, painting, photography, and gardening. I always teach non-perfection, process and play not perfection. There are thousands of orbs in my garden which I have photographed. I have over 60 lavendar plants. My garden is a sacuary and sacred space. It is a place of renewal and inspiration. People of all ages love being here. I have been influenced by 25 years going to Monet's gardens to photograph and helping to restore his gardens in Giverny, France. For more information look at www.elizabethmurray.com for films and art influenced by my garden. Also check for classes and a books I offer, including Monet's Passion and Cultivating Sacred Space, Gardening for the Soul.

Excellent pictures. Especially liked the wash of blue cone- shaped flowers; what variety are they? Would love to see what you do with the lavender, and get a more complete view of the gardens.
